How to Raise 6 Wonderful Children & 14 Amazing Grandchildren:

Step 1: Make the courageous decision to move to Canada from the Netherlands at 18 years of age.

Step 2: A few years later, meet, fall in love with & promptly marry a beautiful woman, like Astrid.

Step 3: Put your nose to the grind & work incredibly hard to provide for the family you're helping create.

Step 4: Retire a little early, learn to kick back & enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Step 5: Love. Love. Love.

Step 6: Move on to be with God, knowing you've passed on to all your loved ones the torch of loyalty, responsibility, hard work, silliness, humility, faith, dedication, being true to yourself, and love.
