Marianne Lee/Cline (née Trimble) passed away peacefully among her loving family and compassionate, caring staff at the Northumberland Hospital in Cobourg on Jan. 27, 2018.

Born July 15,1935 in Toronto. Marianne was the beloved wife of Ron I. Cline (wife of pre-deceased Robert F. Lee). Loving Mother to David (Alison), pre-deceased Ken, Gary, Krista (Leo) Marino, and dog Leah. Adoring Grandmother to Robyn, Bryan, Mike (Laura), Rob (Jordanne), Amanda (Dave), Dan (Sarah-Jane), Emily and Kevin. Proud Great-Grandmother to Emmett, Meredith and Everlyn. Younger sister to Doreen (Harve) Crone.

Marianne spent close to 80 summers at Skootamatta Lake, her "paradise" where she has been a part of 5 generations of treasured family memories. A love for sunny days at the lake; watching the loons, chipmunks and hummingbirds; being among family and friends and her almost 10 year marriage with loving and attentive husband, Ron.

As per her wishes, the family will be having a private Celebration of Life in her home and memorial at the lake at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Sick Kids Hospital or to the charity of your choice.

Marianne will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

Arrangements entrusted to the Fallis & Shields Funeral Home, Millbrook.

Just a note of condolences to you & your family Ron. Marianne was really nice lady. Ron

I will miss Marianne's pleasant company. always a great conversation on the week's events - dinner's out with Ron or his obsession with christmas decorations, trips to the cottage, the delight of great grand babies, menu preparations for guests and family, trips and accomplishments of kids and grandkids. She was proud of her family and happy with her life. Marianne was not just a client , I considered her a friend. Very sorry for your loss.
