Raymond Leo Kelbrick ~ Passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 90. Ray was the beloved husband of Barbara Mitchell and the late Isobel Houghton (2001). Loving father of John (Joanne), Arn (Jen Young), Carolyn Maraghi (Elias) and step-father of Sherry Tripp (Keith) and Janice Lavalley (Jeff). Proud grandfather of Lindsay, Alexander, Veronica, Michael and step-grandfather of Ryan, Dan, Joseph, and Jadyn. Treasured great-grandfather of Isabella, William, Christopher, Scarlett and step-great-grandfather of MacKinley, Colton, Hudson and Greyson. Dear brother of Patsy Dowson (the late Harry), Jean Sexsmith (the late Jim), Helen Brasier (George). Predeceased by siblings John, Agnes (Jack), Rita (Eddie), Marie (Walter), Theresa (Cleve), Arnold (Ruby), Shirley (Gerry), Joan and his parents John and Mae (née Gosselin). Ray will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A sincere thank you to the community of St. John’s Anglican Church, Peterborough for their spiritual kinship and to the many health care providers involved in Ray’s care.




Service Information

Visitation to be held on Friday, November 15th from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Fallis & Shields Funeral Home, 35 King St. W., Millbrook. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 30th at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church, 99 Brock Street, Peterborough. A Private Family interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. In memory of Ray, a donation to Five Counties Children’s Centre would be appreciated. We are very saddened to hear about the passing of Ray. Ray had a gift of music and we will miss him playing beautiful songs on the piano at family events. May the many good memories you have of Ray bring you peace, comfort and strength.
