Obituary of BROUSSEAU, Adele
April 7, 1922 - October 18, 2016
The little lady with the big heart and even bigger grin left us after a brief stay in hospital. She lived life to the fullest and found humour in everything. She asked her male nurse if he would care to fill out her dance card the night before she passed away. A fashionista at heart, she loved to shop, decorate her apartment and serve gourmet meals to her guests. Nothing gave her more pleasure than donning her trademark black beret and leading a troop of her great-grandchildren through Dollarama and Walmart seeking bargains and fun. They always found both. Predeceased by her daughter Lyn (Michael Benedek); grandson Chris Ferguson; great-grandson Stephan Clarke-Ferguson. She is survived by her son Wilf (Judy); daughter Dale; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The last of 8 siblings of Maurice Dalton LaRose and Mary Russell LaRose, she was well read, a news junkie, had opinions on everything and had no trouble sharing them. She was confident. She was feisty. She did her crosswords in ink. Grandma Dynamite has left us. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
At Adele’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private family interment will follow.
Adele was a true friend and had more energy then most 30 yr Olds. She told it like it was and judged nobody. It was an honor to be her friend and neighbor. My deepest sympathy to her family and all those whose hearts are broken at the loss of this amazing woman. I will carry her in my heart and memory always. Hugs.💖
Dearest Dale (and family) My heart goes out to you all at this sad time. May she rest in eternal peace, and may it help you to know that she is no longer in any pain, and that she will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts. xo
