C. Thomas "Tom" Ross
ROSS; Charles Thomas “Tom” (Retired Major from the Canadian Armed Forces with a distinguished flying career) ~ Peacefully after a battle with cancer on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Crown Ridge Place LTC, Trenton, in his 80th year. Tom Ross was the beloved husband of Sharron M. Ross (nee Sweezie). Loving father of Jo Ann Ross (Kent Littlefield), Suzann DeMille (Michael), and the late Leeann Ross. Loved grandfather of James DeMille (Brooke), Corey DeMille (Loretta Naujok), Aaron DeMille, Keeley DeMille (Andrew Dayton) and great grandfather of Gaven DeMille and the late Mira DeMille. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Crown Ridge Place LTC for their loving and compassionate care of Tom.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Tom, donations to the National Air Force Museum of Canada Foundation, Trenton, would be appreciated by the family. To Sharron, Suzann and family . I only knew Tom for a short time during his stay at Crown Ridge. But what a gentleman and kind soul he was. One of the last memories I have of Tom was dancing with Suzann at one of the Friday afternoon Happy Hour held at Crown Ridge. You are all in my thoughts and prayers t this difficult time.
