THOMPSON;  Donald George ~ Peacefully on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 84.  Donald Thompson was the loving father of Jeff Thompson (Amanda) and Andra Thompson (Larry Hewitt).  Loved grandfather of Travis, Ashley and Trevor.  Dear brother of the late Gord Cassman (survived by Sandra) and the late Marjorie Borsk (the late Herbert).  Donald will be remembered by his nieces, nephews, Howard Lawson, his neighbour Ray and all the gang at Thurston’s Diner.

Service Information

Private family services will be held. In memory of Donald, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Fallis & Shields Funeral Home, Millbrook (705-932-5300). Donations or condolences may be made at

I just read the sad news that Don recently passed away. I met Don on the Lansdowne bus on his way to or from lunch at Thurstons. He was always so friendly and even paid for lunch for my daughter, granddaughter and i. Such a happy guy. So, so sorry for your loss.
