Richard "Rick" Joseph Mocon
MOCON; Richard “Rick” Joseph (Owner and Operator of High Spring Trading Post, Millbrook and for the past 32 years in Havelock, Ontario) ~ Peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 80. Rick was the beloved husband of Madeleine Mocon (nee Frost). Loving father of Christopher (Tracey), Deborah Howarth (Larry), and Scott (Nancy). Loved grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Dear brother of Rosemary Mocon, David (Pirjo), the late Edward (the late Dale) and the late Keith. Son of the late Stanley and Corrine Mocon. Rick loved anything to do with horses and being around horses. He was a founding member of the Frontier Week in Millbrook.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will happen at a later date. In Rick’s memory, donations may be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation – ICU Department and would be appreciated by the family. Dear Madeline and family we are so very saddened to hear of Rick's passing. He has left an amazing legacy ,in his accomplishments while in Millbrook. Will miss seeing him working with leather in his shop.

Sad to hear of Rick's passing. I remember him from when we first moved to Millbrook and his involvement with Frontier Days. My condolences to the family.
