LODEWYKS;  Grace M. ~ After a brief illness at the Fairhaven LTC, Peterborough on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the age of 87.  Grace Lodewyks (nee Newell) was the beloved wife of the late Peter Lodewyks.  Loving mother of Geneva Hawkins (Stuart) and Miriam Flagler (Peter).  Loved grandmother of Joanna Maheffay, Sarah Sutton (Gord), John Hawkins (Julie), Peter Flagler (Danielle), and Pietra Lodewyks (Darren Angus).  Great grandmother of 7.  Dear sister of Kathy Armstrong (the late Charles), the late Gary Newell and the late Robert Newell (the late Laura).  The family wishes to express a special thank you to granddaughter Pietra for her love, kindness and friendship to Grace and to the staff of Fairhaven LTC, Peterborough.




Service Information

Due to COVID restrictions, private family services will be held. In memory of Grace, donations to the Millbrook-Cavan United Church or the Gardiner’s Cemetery, Millbrook would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Fallis & Shields Funeral Home, Millbrook. Online donations and or condolences may be made at fallis-shields.com.
