Our world shrinks with her loss. Smooth sailing my dear friend.
Well remembered in 5to9er's group.
We met Jane and Ray when they lived on Brook Road in Cobourg. Ray had fallen out of a tree stand and Jane asked my son if he could walk Ed. We love Ed and visiting with Jane and Ray. We also walked Elsie she was so spirited! We were lucky to meet Jane and Ray and enjoyed their company and stories.
My condolences to the Litt family. Jane was a wonderfully warm and welcoming neighbour and friend. I will always remember how she welcomed me in your home in Port Perry or as one of the many ‘hanger-ons’ at the Taylor’s cottage across the bay from your delightful cottage in Haliburton welcoming me/us for evening games and songs. I especially remember the the times she kindly picked me up while she was in Toronto for various commitments to drive me home to Port Perry for the weekend during my early U of T years. We had engaging chats during those drives and I was introduced to the backroad shortcuts - so many years ago. Thinking of all of you. Anne
Jane was a great teacher and a wonderful, kind woman. She made the town of Port Perry a better place. Condolences from the Baird family.
Jane was my teacher in grade 9 at Cartwright High School. She was one of my favourites. A fabulous teacher in every sense of the word. A wonderful person I shall always remember. Sincere condolences to the Litt family.
My sympathies for your loss. I think her mother Catherine was sister to my G Grandpa John? Michael is my GG Grandfather. Norman is my Grandpa and Jeff my father. She and I share similar facial features.
Our most sincere condolences to all who knew and loved Mrs. Litt.
