Obituary of THOMPSON, Heather Patricia
Heather Patricia (Kimmett) Thompson died peacefully in the arms of her family on February 8, 2017 in her 64th year. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Catherine (Booth) Kimmett. She is survived by her daughters Megan (Al) Thompson and Melanie (Steve) Ireland and her grandchildren Lucas Thompson, Tatum Ireland, and Damien Thompson-Conway. Dear sister of Vicki Kimmett and Kathy (John) Roxborough. Heather was a loving aunt and great-aunt to April, Max, and Nolan Kimmett, Adrian (Peg), Owen, Dryden, and Jorja Kimmett and loving Boo Boo to Jennifer (Chris), and Evee Thackeray. She will be missed by a large extended family and circle of friends.
A celebration of Heather’s life will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 with visitation at 1:00 and an informal ceremony at 2:00 at the Grafton Legion. In Heather’s memory and in lieu of flowers, donations to PMH Pencer Clinic (for Danielle’s Diamond) or the Primrose Donkey Sanctuary will be welcome. A private graveside ceremony will be held at the Roblin Cemetery, Roblin, Ontario at a later date. Heather lost this last fight but won the war: “For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?”
You will be missed Heather , but you left us with so much of you that we will never forget you. It was alway so lovely to visit you when you got to stop over and we all got to see and talk to us. My last time I seen you you were not feeling well down with a cold you said to me I won't come to close. But she still got her hug . We love you Heather and always will..❤️ 🙏 You are now in the arms of God. 💟💟💟

I had not known heather very long ... but she left a loving and happy impression on me .. i know she will be missed by many many special people .....
I am truly sorry for the loss of your Mother. She was such a wonderful person. A heart of gold and a deep stubborn streak. Heather always had great praise for her daughters and grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew her. I worked with Heather for 4 years at WalMart. Our last outing was a get together in November for lunch with some of the current and retired associates from WalMart.
Thinking of you and your family at this hard time. Your Mom looks like such a lovely lady.
Megan, I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. My heart goes out to you. May you always feel her love in your heart. Debbie
